This is a non-intensive class of 30-minutes of yoga and 15-minutes of rest. Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is a choice -based style of yoga with different options given for each form, or shape.
Participants are invited to explore their sensations as they try out various forms and shapes, potentially reconnecting with their bodies.
This class is not about pushing yourself, or progressing, but more about feeling your way through and being curious about out what feels most useful for you.
Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep in the ancient Sanskrit language. It is a guided rest session. Participants are invited to focus attention on different body parts, calming the brain waves to a sleep-like state.
TCTSY is scheduled immediately after a hot class, which means that although the heating will be turned off, the studio will still be warm and toasty. The heat will warm your muscles and ease your movements.
